However, even if you live alone, there are many people who may be able to reduce their electricity bills by switching to Lpio Denki.
If you are currently paying at least 5,000 yen a month for electricity, the price may be lower than it is now.

Plan I applied for
The plan I applied for is Standard S（スタンダード プランS）, one of the plans for the Chubu region.
Lpio Denki has different plans to choose from depending on the region.
These are the plans for general households.
“スタンダードプランS” for Kanto area, “スタンダードライト” for single person in Kanto area, “プランS“ for Tohoku area and Chubu area are, “使った分だけSプラン“ for Hokuriku area, Kansai area, China area, power area and power area.
Application procedure
Step 1 Go to the Lpio homepage
Go to the Lpio homepage.
This is a guide to Lpio Denki’s cashback campaign.
It seems that some people may see a cashback campaign page for a different month.
Even in such a case, there is no problem with application and cash back to you, so please do not worry about it.
You don’t need to visit a specific page to get cash back.

If you scroll down the page, there is a button that says “おもうしこみはこちら”, so you can tap that to go to the application form.
Step 2 Input your information
This is the application page.
I will explain each one in order from the top.
Area ① is a question about a house that contracts for electricity.
The above options are selected if you want to change the power company of the house you currently live in to Lpio Denki.
The options below are selected you move and contract with Lpio.
Area ② is a question about the area of the house where you contract for electricity. The power companies that supply power to your area will be displayed, so please select from them.
Then ③ and ④. If you chose “you move and contract with Lpio” in ①, those questions will not be appeared.
For ③, select the name of the electric power company you are currently contracting with.
For ④, enter your customer number at the electric power company you are currently contracting with.
Those who switch from other power companies to Lpio Denki will definitely need the numbers.
The numbers is on the paper from the power company or my page on your power company site.
If you will contract at the new address, check the check box of this arrow.
000000000000000000000000 is automatically entered.
If you chose the contract at the new address in ①, select the start date.
You must apply at least 8 business days before Lpio Denki.
In my case, I didn’t know that and applied for it 5 days before.
However, I made a comment in the comment section of ⑫, I was able to contract for electricity from the desired date.
I will tell you the detail later.
For ⑥, select the plan you want to contract.
These are the plans for general households.
“スタンダードプランS” for Kanto area, “プランS“ for Tohoku area and Chubu Electric Power are, “使った分だけSプラン“ for Hokuriku area, Kansai area, China area, power area and power area.
For ⑦, enter the name.
Please enter your address.
In my case, I entered the new address because I chose to contract at the new address.
⑧ is the address where you contract for electricity.
If the address you enter is the same as the address that supplies electricity, select left, otherwise select right.
⑨ is the payment method.
Select the left for credit cards and the right for direct debit.
⑩ is whether to issue a paper with the amount of electricity used.
If you want paper, select above. It costs 110 yen every month.

⑪ is a questionnaire.
The question is where did you find out about Lpio Denki?
I chose その他.
It means others.
⑫ is a space for comments.
Please fill in if you have any.
In my case, I wrote a comment because I was late to apply for Lpio Denki and it seemed that the electricity supply would not be in time on the day I moved into my new house.
I wrote that “引っ越し日が６月１９日なのでその日から電気供給をお願いします”。
It means “please supply electricity from June 19, because I will start to live in the house”
In my case, I was able to contract for electricity from the desired date.”
Finally, after understanding the contract details of Lpio Denki, check the check box of ⑬.
This completes the application.
Step 3 Register your bank account or credit card.
After completing the input form, you will receive an email about the payment method.
Within 72 hours, click the link in the email to register your payment method.
In my case I entered my credit card information.
Credit card registration is complete.
In my case, this is the end of my application.
This is the end for most people.
Step 4 Install the smart meter
Every house is equipped with a machine that displays the power consumption.
In recent years, most homes have become smart meters with data communication functions.
You need to have a smart meter to contract with Lpio Denki.
But if you don’t have it in your house, Lpio Denki will install it for free.
Houses without smart meters will receive a phone call from Lpio Denki to set a construction date for installing the machine.
The application will be completed when the construction is completed.
The way to tell if a machine is a smart meter is whether the numbers displayed are digital or analog.
If it is a digital display, it is a smart meter.
Summary

Fill out the form.
And Register your payment method.
Electricity will be supplied on the due date after the application is completed.
For those who changed from another power company to Elpio Denki, the power company will switch in about two weeks.
