There are two main methods of disposing of home appliances. Whether to sell or throw away.
If you want to dispose of it, you have to ask the appliances shop or bring it to the designated place by yourself.

If you ask an appliances shop, you will be charged the recycling and transportation costs. The recycling cost is the same for all shops, but the transportation costs are charged from 1500 yen to 3000 yen depending on the shop.

If the store staff carries the appliances from your home, the transportation costs will be even higher, ranging from 3,000 to 8,000 yen.
However, if you carry the appliances to the designated place by yourself, the transportation cost is 0 yen.

• Home appliances information

1.      Buy a recycling ticket at the post office.

You must buy a recycling ticket before you bring it to the designated place. This is the cost of disposing of your home appliances, which you can pay at the post office. Bring your ticket to the designated place instead of money.

When you tell the post office that you want to throw away your home appliances, you will be given a form to buy a ticket.

Fill out this form with your name and information about the appliances you want to dispose of.
Check the manufacturer and size of your home appliances in advance.
The disposal cost is determined by these two.

Whether the TV has a monitor size of 15 or less or 16 or more
Whether the refrigerator is 170 liters or less or 171 liters or more
No air conditioning and washing machine size information is required.

Make a note of this information before you go to the post office.
The recommended way is to take a photo.
A post office person will assist you in filling out the form.

You will pay when you are done.
At that time, you have to decide whether to pay at the counter or at the ATM.

Pass the home appliance to the staff.

All you have to do is carry your appliances.
You can attach a recycling ticket to your home appliances, put it on your car, and give it to the staff at the designated place.

In my case, I brought a washing machine.
The car was a mini car Wagon R, but I was able to carry it in ample space.
When I put the washing machine in the car, I hit it against the body of the car. So be careful not to make the same mistakes.

After passing the appliances to the staff, the staff check the ticket and it was over soon
